FSM-41S+ Fusion Splicer Kit with Cleaver CT-50
The new 41S+ is a fully ruggedised, active cladding alignment fusion splicer. Enabled by Warm Splice Imaging (WSI), the 41S+ can determine the accuracy of core alignment by evaluation of the splice during the heating process. This technology delivers splice loss estimates with a greater level of accuracy as those based on only cladding alignment. The new Active Fusion Control (AFC) technology improves splice losses for fibres that have a poor cleave angle. Combined with Active Blade Management between the splicer and cleaver, the Fujikura 41S+ contains a robust set of splicing features that will reduce the likelihood of poor splice installations or repairs.
