New @ Crosswise 90S+

From June, the Fujikura FSM-90S will be replaced by the FSM-90S+. The redesigned splicer offers improved splice loss performance over the current 90S model.

Fujikura has further developed the arc fusion control algorithm to provide improved splice loss performance even when at large cleave angles. The development is the basis for the Active Fusion Control Technology. This new technology, exclusive to the FSM-90S+, improves the splicing process and reduces the need for re-work.

The 90S+ uses two key technologies. "Active Blade Management Technology" reduces the frequency of incorrectly cleave angles. "Active Fusion Control Technology" reduces the frequency of high splice loss, even in the case of problems with a large cleave angle/end face. Thanks to these two technologies, the 90S+ helps compensate for different skill levels of users and the redesigned splicer also delivers a consistently reliable low splice loss.
